How to Pack for Family Yacht Vacations

When you’re planning a family vacation on a luxury yacht, the options for adventure are seemingly endless—after all, your daily itinerary could include snorkeling through colorful reefs, saltwater fishing, lounging in the sun or browsing exotic island markets. So how do you prepare for a family getaway when the settings can vary so much? Ultimately, your destination and the length of your vacation will determine what you should pack, but this basic list is a good starting point for getting your suitcases in order.


Packing List


-Spray-on sunscreen

– Aloe vera lotion

– Insect repellant

-Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrush)

– Dramamine

– Ziplock bags

– Prescription medications

– Hand sanitizer



– Sun hat

– Sunglasses

– 1 pair of underwear per day

– 5-7 short sleeved shirts

– 2-3 pairs of shorts

– 2 pairs of pajamas

– 2 evening shirts for dinner onshore
